On the 27th of May 2022, the local cryptocurrency and bitcoin enthusiasts will gather under one roof to eat, network, celebrate and party. The organizers invite all those immersed in bitcoin, cryptocurrency and the blockchain to join in on the celebration with the larger crypto community in Malaysia. The History

On May 22, 2010, a programmer, bought two large pizzas using 10,000 bitcoins. "I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas... like maybe 2 large ones so I have some left over for the next day," Laszlo Hanyecz, a Programmer

It is one of the most historical real-world purchases just a year after the creation of bitcoin. The community then dubbed May 22 as Bitcoin Pizza Day to commemorate the historical transaction. Now, Bitcoin Pizza Day is celebrated annually among the community around the world. 12 years later, bitcoin became capable enough to compete with the global currencies! On its 11th anniversary last year, bitcoin price reached a record high, crossing RM 284,000. ‘To celebrate this success, we are inviting each and everyone in the local crypto space to join us at Damansara this year, on the 27th of May! The Participating Experience From Mining to Payments, DeFi to Digital Ownership, attendees will be taken thru the journey of the world's first and most famous cryptocurrency, narrated by local industry reps and key community leaders. Participants to the event can expect free flow pizzas, personalized NFT’s, a whole lot of goodies and giveaway at a casual yet engaging atmosphere. There will also be a meet and greet session with all key opinion leaders, content creators and industry reps throughout the itinerary. Attendees are limited to 300pax.
